ALTERNATIVE PROVISION

October 6th, 2014

The Pump provides specialist programmes that empower young people to overcome the barriers preventing them from engaging in mainstream education. Programmes are designed to meet the personal, social and educational needs for students. Click the brochure to download a PDF copy.

The programme aims to raise attainment levels, prevent exclusion whilst encouraging learning and achievement. The ultimate purpose of the programme is to enable young people to develop the essential life skills needed to flourish in adult life.

Students have the opportunity to gain real life work experiences by volunteering in the reception, IT suite, cyber café and recording studio.

All students must be referred from the local education authority, the school or other referral agency. The Pump adopts a roll on, roll off admission policy, so applications can be made throughout the year, availability of places permitting.

For more information call Charlotte or Jem on 0121 675 8381
