We are looking for someone to cover maternity leave here at The Pump, to help us keep our projects and programmes running smoothly throughout this time.
We need an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Youth Worker to join our team to manage and expand our youth work programme, ensuring young people are at the heart of all aspects of the programme and decision making. You will take the lead on monitoring and evaluation, ensuring services are of a high quality and accessible to the diverse needs of young people.
In addition, you will help expand and develop The Pump’s highly successful participatory arts and employability programmes and our accredited training to include ‘The Pump Lab’; a community-based makerspace, inspired by the FabLab (fabrication laboratory) model and an ‘incubator’ for ideas, workshops, seminars, projects and (social) enterprise.
You will continue to deliver an outreach programme (work in schools and other partners organisations) to engage more ‘hard to reach’ young people, including those who are categorised as NEET, i.e. not in education, employment or training and increase the opening hours of our open access Youth provision and maintaining a job club at The Pump.
You will also be responsible for implementing Arts Awards accreditation within projects and ensuring all project deliverables are met in a timely manner and within budget, whilst achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Closing Date: 12 Noon – 20th July 2018
