Job Title: Senior Youth Worker/Project Manager
Salary: Circa £30,000
Hours: Full Time; 37.5 per week
Term: Fixed for three years (possible extension)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior youth worker to join our team at The Pump to lead on a new and exciting programme of youth work, ensuring young people are at the heart of all aspects of the programme and decision making.
You will lead on the development an outreach programme that engages more ‘hard to reach’ young people, including those who are categorised as NEET, i.e. not in education, employment or training and increase the opening hours of our open access Youth provision.
In addition, you will help expand and develop The Pump’s highly successful participatory arts and employability programmes and our accredited training to include ‘The Pump Lab’; a supported community-based makerspace, inspired by the FabLab (fabrication laboratory) model and an ‘incubator’ for ideas, workshops, seminars, projects and (social) enterprise.
Working with our partners in the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, the public sector and the private sector you will attract a diverse range of practioners, new audiences/ partnerships to maximise our growth and reputation as a key deliverer of high quality youth work.
