Job Title: Youth Worker
Salary range: Circa £25,000
Hours: Full time 37.5 per week
Term: Fixed Term until July 2020 (with possible extension)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced youth worker to join our team at The Pump to support our new and exciting programme of youth work, As such, you will lead on the establishment of a youth council, utilising as many creative technics to engage and motivate young people to ensure they are at the heart of all aspects of the programme and decision making.
In addition, you will help expand and develop The Pump’s highly successful participatory arts and employability programmes and our accredited training through utilising our Creative Spaces offer to engage young people. Supporting other staff and volunteers you will help deliver a comprehensive programme that meets the needs of young people and achieves results for our funders, including an outreach programme that engages more ‘hard to reach’ young people, including those who are categorised as NEET, i.e. not in education, employment or training.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and flexible to meet the demands of our busy programme to enable us to increase the opening hours of our open access Youth provision and possess a passion for working with young people. You will have experience of building new alliances and partnerships enabling us to expand our offer and attract new funding.
